Zinedine Zidane has cleared the air on the future of Real Madrid star, Isco.
The Spaniard has been very poor since he signed a new five years deal at the Bernabeu last September. His poor performances have led the press to report that he would be sold by the French boss if he remains manager of Real Madrid next season.
Isco has always been attracting attention from the Premier League, and when those reports came out, several Premier League teams were automatically linked with signing him including Liverpool who have just sold Philippe Coutinho, and Manchester City who are looking for another big name signing.
However, when asked about these rumours, Zidane made it clear that he is not considering selling any of his star men at the moment.
According to him: “You were all asking before why I did not want to sign players in January.
“It is because I believe in my team. When I begin something, I go to the death with what I have.
“I want Isco to spend all his career here. That will not change. He is a very good footballer.
“He has shown that and can always show that, so [the report] is a lie. I am happy you asked me so I can answer this.”
This would come as a bitter blow to fans of the Premier League who were hoping to see the Spaniard dazzle in the competition next season.
