The big one is obviously still the Sanchez saga. With Wenger stating that the deal was pretty much already done it would be good for all concerned to get this done and dusted so the players can get going and fans can start moving onto the next big departure or arrival.
Ozil not going anywhere, which Wenger has also suggested, will not stop certain stories coming out of the woodwork so fans can expect to read about interest ongoing for Ozil. Whilst interest might exist, it does not appear plausible that it will be this month so Arsenal fans can be pleased that they won’t be losing yet another star of theirs.
Aubameyang is a biggy. In fact he’s just missed the squad for Dortmund’s next game with their manager claiming his head isn’t in the right place at the moment. Thoughts on a move to London maybe? It could just well be.
Arsenal fans can also expect some more stories on Bellerin who we understand won’t be leaving this January despite rumoured interest from Juventus so you can rest easy on that one.
The other bit of business is Giroud or Welbeck. One of them could depart as soon as this month but Arsenal won’t be losing both. Welbeck is a keen target of Besiktas. A lot will depend on which offer comes in first and of course how much. What we can tell you though is that Welbeck has just 18 months left on his deal so you could well expect to see neither Giroud nor Welbeck at the Emirates by the end of the summer.
