Tottenham fans can rest assured that Mauricio Pochettino would not do the unthinkable by leaving them for London neighbors, Chelsea, at least not this summer.
The Blues are planning to fire Antonio Conte after Saturday’s FA Cup date with Manchester United regardless of their final score, and Mauricio Pochettino is one of the managers that Roman Abramovich has on his list of targets to replace the Italian.
Poch has also been at loggerheads with Daniel Levy recently over transfer budget and the club’s wage structure as he looks to win his first trophy for the north London outfit next season.
The Argentine manager has also refused to publicly commit his future to the Spurs job, making some fans fear that he may move across London were there are no limits to both transfer fees and wage budgets.
However, Sun Sport reports that Poch has agreed to remain at Tottenham for at least one more season, and the Argentine expects his star men like Harry Kane, Dele Ali and Eric Dier to remain with him.
However, failure to spend big in the transfer market and a lack of trophies to show for their progress may see the Argentinean quit White Hart Lane for a bigger club.
