Stuttgart prepared to reject £44 million offer for Manchester United target

Manchester United would not be able to prise away Benjamin Pavard from Stuttgart this summer even if they pay as much £44 million for the French man.

The Red Devils are in the market for a new right back who would eventually replace Antonio Valencia who is already 33 years.

Jose Mourinho has already signed Diogo Dalot but the former Porto youngster is inexperienced and may need some time to get up to speed.

Sun Sport reports that the Red Devils are currently interested in signing Pavard after his impressive showing at this World Cup.

He was an unknown quantity before the World Cup began; however, he has been impressive for the French national team at the competition so far.

His wonder goal against Argentina has been tipped to win the goal of the tournament and most of the top teams are beginning to look for him.

The Red Devils have been monitoring the World Cup star with hopes of signing him this summer, however, the Germans have made it clear that they would not sell even for £44 million. Pavard is also attracting the attention of other Premier League teams like Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea alongside the like of PSG and AC Milan.
