Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale has decided to join Manchester United after this season despite interest from his former team, Tottenham.
Bale’s future has been in doubt since Real Madrid started struggling this season in his absence, it became apparent that he was spending more time on the treatment table that on the pitch for Los Merenges. He was booed at times and the Welsh man seems to have made up his mind to leave.
Reports are claiming he has made up his mind to join Jose Mourinho at Manchester United even if it means he would not wear the number 7 shirt which has already been taken over by Alexis Sanchez.
This decision comes as a bitter blow for Real Madrid and Tottenham as the European champions planned to use him as a sweetener in their move for Harry Kane next summer in their bid to change their front three.
Kane, Neymar and Mauro Icardi have been planned to replace Bale, Karim Benzema, and Christiano Ronaldo after this season.
The Welsh man has been blighted by injury throughout his spell in Madrid but would still cost at least £80 million.
