PSG have become the latest team to show interest in Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen, and the French side is reportedly ready to splash £100 million for the Dane’s signature.
Eriksen has just under two years left on his current contract with Spurs and the English side has not opened talks with him over a new deal. PSG are hoping to take advantage of this situation and sign him before the end of the European transfer window.
The French champions are not the only team who has been linked with a move for Eriksen this summer. Real Madrid have also made him their number one summer target after Inter Milan declared their interest in Luka Modric.
Modric who won the World Cup this summer has reportedly had his head turned by the prospect of competing against his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
PSG had reportedly made their interest in Eriksen known before the World Cup, now that he has returned and is yet to follow the likes of Harry Kane and Son Hueng Min to commit his longterm future to the Lilywhites, they want to pounce.
Eriksen netted 14 goals and provided 10 further assists for Spurs last season.
