Manchester United are in for some tough times just before the new season begins and that’s not what they need at the moment.
Reports on Sun Sport claims that Paul Pogba wants a new contract that would add £200k per week to his current salary after he won the World Cup with France last month.
The Manchester United midfielder’s agent arrived England on Monday to try and engineer a move away for his client but after the Red Devils told him that they were not going to listen to offers for his signature, he told them they’d have to offer him a new contract then.
Pogba currently earns £180k per week in net wages, but he wants to move closer to Alexis Sanchez who is both the club and Premier League’s top earner at the moment. Pogba is said to be demanding a £380k per week wage as a reflection of his new status as a World Cup winner.
With two days left before the transfer window closes, the Red Devils have a major decision to make on the French man, but it unlikely going to be selling him to any of his suitors.
