Manchester United are set for good news when Marouane Fellaini finally announces the team he would be playing for next season.
The giant Belgian has announced that he would tell the team he would be playing for next season by Sunday and many of the Red Devil’s fans have been panicking as the announcement would come after his current Manchester United deal expires.
However, reports in Belgium claims they have nothing to worry about as the midfielder is prepared to continue his career at Old Trafford until the end of the 2019/2020 season at least.
Jose Mourinho is an admirer of the 30 years old and has been encouraging him to sign the new deal that has been offered to him, but the Belgian decided to look elsewhere after United delayed in offering him the new contract.
He has listened to offers from the likes of AC Milan, Arsenal and clubs from Turkey who could have gotten him to sign a pre-contract agreement with them since January.
Fellaini features prominently in Jose Mourinho’s midfield plans and the Portuguese boss has been busy looking for a replacement for him after signing Fred to replace Michael Carrick. If Fellaini does sign it would be a huge coup as it would free up funds for the club to sign players in other positions.
