Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has admitted that he would allow Thibaut Courtois leave Stamford Bridge this summer if the Belgian personally asks him for a move away.
The Belgian has been reluctant to sign a new Chelsea contract with just a year left on his current deal, and he has openly flirted with the idea of joining Real Madrid so that he can be closer to his family who stay at the Spanish capital.
His agent asked the Blues to allow his clients join Los Blancos last week so that he can get closer to his kids.
Christophe Henrotay said: “I have been reading everywhere that Chelsea are saying it is up to Thibaut, but he has made it clear to the club that the best option for him is to move to Madrid.
“For him this is a big decision because he wants to be near his family, and there is an offer in place for Chelsea to accept.”
Courtois as well as Eden Hazard would return to Stamford Bridge this morning after their extended break following their run to the World Cup semifinal and they would be looking to sort their future out before the new season begins fully.
Sarri would be hoping his two star men would stay and help him win the Premier League or at least return the club to a Champions League place by the end of this season.
