Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is fed up with Anthony Martial wanting to leave Old Trafford this summer, and the Portuguese boss is ready to sell the French man. However, he wants to sign Ivan Perisic first.
Martial has struggled to impress the former Chelsea boss and has been relegated to a squad player under him. The French man has told the former Europa League winners that he wants out, but the club have been reluctant to sell him so far.
The relationship between the Portuguese boss and the French man has reportedly hit rock bottom, and Martial left the team’s camp to attend to the birth of his son without permission this week.
Tottenham, PSG, and Juventus are keen to land the former AS Monaco man, but Mourinho has a condition before selling. The Portuguese boss wants a replacement and none other person than Ivan Perisic.
Perisic starred for Croatia as they reached the finals of the World Cup in Russia. The Inter Milan winger has been on Jose Mourinho’s radar since last summer, but Inter don’t want to sell for less than £80 million.
That fee seems to be too much for a 29 years old, but the Red Devils would try again, and this time maybe use Martial as a sweetener.
