Manchester United have begun plans for the next transfer window after a near disastrous start to this campaign.
The Red Devils did not back Jose Mourinho enough in the last transfer window, and that has affected their start to the new league campaign. But the Portuguese manager has been promised significant funds in the next transfer window, and reports claim he is plotting a move for a Serie A star.
A report in the Italian media claims that Mourinho is set to bid £107 million for the signing of Paolo Dybala in the next transfer window. The Argentinean has emerged as Mourinho’s number one target to help lead his attack in the next half of the season after seeing his team struggle for creativity in the early stages of the season.
However, Manchester United face significant competition from other top European sides. Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Dybala, and the Argentinean is also desperate to play for Los Blancos.
Barcelona are also looking to pair him with his fellow country man, Lionel Messi and they would rival the Red Devils if they get encouragement that he is set to leave the Allianz Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are set to trigger the additional year extension on the contract of Anthony Martial after the French man decided to pause signing a new contract.
