Marcus Rashford’s Manchester United future has been up for a debate since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez at Old Trafford, with the form of Anthony Martial making him the more likely player to give way so that the team can accommodate the Chilean.
This week, more fire has been added to the rumours that he could be moved on when reports in England claimed that Jose Mourinho wants to sign Justin Kluivert from Ajax.
In what would not be the best news for Rashford and his fans, German news outlet Bild, is claiming that Manchester United are fighting very hard to sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund. The reports claim that the Red Devils have moved ahead of Liverpool in the race for the American teenager.
Pulisic was close to joining Liverpool last season, but Dortmund decided against selling after losing Ousmane Dembele. The Germans are now open to selling as he has just 2 years left on his current deal with them.
He is currently valued at £40 million in the transfer market, but Dortmund’s recent businesses shows that Manchester United should prepare to pay at least twice that amount.
His arrival would take Rashford further down the pecking order and the England man should be considering his future already.
