His current struggles with his manager is set to cost Anthony Martial his future at Old Trafford as Manchester United prepare to offload him to Real Madrid.
The French man’s relationship with his manager is at an all time low and he left their camp to be with his partner for the birth of their child last week without permission. While he has been fined for leaving camp, reports in Spain claims he has been offered to Real Madrid.
Dariogol claims that Jose Mourinho has told Real Madrid that they can have the attacker if they pay £89 million. Martial was one of the world’s best young players when he joined Manchester United from Monaco for fee that could rise to £58 million in the summer of 2015.
However, since Mourinho came on board, his career has stalled and he has been used as a squad player since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez last winter. He would likely not be in the former Chelsea manager’s plans for the new season.
Martial has already informed the club that he wants out. His agent has been trying to broker a new deal with the club that would see him play more often, but the two parties are still far apart, which has forced his camp to issue a public come-and-get-me plea to other top European sides.
