Manchester United are currently scouting Europe for some of the best young players as they look to add some youthfulness to their team next season.
The Red Devils have been linked with moves for Justin Kluivert and Christian Pulisic over the past couple of days, and they have added another youngster to the list.
According to Gazetta dello Sport, the Red Devils have joined the race for young Atalanta midfielder Bryan Cristante. The Portuguese youngster has been one of the stars of the over-achieving Italian side and he is set to move to a bigger club.
He is currently on loan from Benfica. The Red Devils have a good relationship with the Portuguese side, and Jose Mourinho would be looking to use his Portuguese connection to land the exciting talent.
Jose Mourinho is looking to bring him in as they prepare to lose Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick after this season. Cristante is an accomplished central midfielder, but he can also play in defensive midfield and further forward.
The Red Devils however, face competition from Juventus and AS Roma for the signature of the midfielder who has scored 10 goals and provided 1 assist in 29 games this season.
