Everton are set to nab Manchester United defender, Marcos Rojo for £30 million.
Marcos Silva has continued his spending spree this summer and that move is set to see him spend at least £127 million this preseason.
Rojo has been told that he can leave Old Trafford this summer, after becoming surplus to requirements. The Argentinean has fallen behind the likes of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, and Victor Lindelof in the Pecking order.
The Red Devils are also in the market for a new defender, but Jose Mourinho has been told that he would need to sell some of his players first if he wants to make new signings.
Everton are rebuilding their squad after a poor season under Ronald Koeman first, and then Sam Allardyce the last time out, and they are prepared to back Silva with the resources he needs.
Sun Sport reports that the Toffees are still looking to sign two more defenders from Barcelona. An £18 million move for Lucas Digne is almost complete after the French man left the Catalans preseason camp, while a move for Yerry Mina is still in the works, even though they have competition from Manchester United.
