Manchester City have made signing Keylor Navas on-loan one of their top priorities as their goalkeeping crisis deepens.
The Premier League champions have lost Claudio Bravo to an injury that is expected to keep him out of action for the next four months, and they have no deputy with first team experience after selling Joe Hart and Angus Gunn.
This situation has left Pep Guardiola with no choice than to return to the loan market to try and sign a new goalkeeper, and he has his sight on Keylor Navas.
Real Madrid have just signed Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea and the Belgian is expected to become their number one for the next six years at the very least, this means that Navas who has been first choice since Iker Casillas retired and left the Bernabeu is set to be relegated to the bench.
The Costa Rican has said that he intends to remain in Madrid and fight for his place, but Pep Guardiola intends to lure him England to deputize for the Ederson.
It is unclear if Navas would prefer to leave Madrid and become a deputy in England because there is no guarantee that Guardiola would play him ahead of Ederson in the Premier League.
