Manchester City are so desperate to get Joe Hart off their books, they have reportedly slashed his £5 million price tag.
The former England number one has seen his career stall since the arrival of Pep Guardiola in the summer of 2016. He joined Torino on loan that summer, but was below-par and the Italians decided against making the move permanent.
Last season he was shipped to West Ham and also failed to impress as the Hammers narrowly escaped relegation. These poor loan spells away from the Premier League champions has made it hard for him to find a new club.
However, Hart has impressed in City’s preseason tour of the U.S so far and the Cityzens hope his performances are enough to get him a new suitor. Hart has said he would rather remain with the Premier League champions than go out on loan again.
Reports on Talksport claims that Manchester City are now prepared to entertain bids that are less than the £5 million they have been valuing the 31 years old. However, he currently earns more than £100k per week, and the Cityzens may have to also subsidize his wages before he can join a new team.
