Liverpool are prepared to step up their pursuit of Juventus star, Paolo Dybala following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin.
The Reds are looking for a new star man to replace Philippe Coutinho and they believe Dybala fits the profile for a statement signing. Nabil Fekir was Jurgen Klopp’s first choice to replace Coutinho but the French man had a problem in his medical which forced Liverpool to pull the plug on the move.
The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at the Allianz Stadium in Turin would shift the focus from Dybala and perhaps also make the Argentine struggle for a starting place next season, and Liverpool want to offer him a way out.
Reports from Sun Sport claims that the Reds are prepared to offer a mouth-watering £80 million for the Argentinean and they hope that the offer is tempting enough to make Juventus sell.
Ronaldo’s transfer fee as well as his weekly wage believed to be a basic £500,000 per week is sure to stretch Juventus and they would be forced into selling most of their star men.
Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain, Mario Mandzukic and Alex Sandro are a few of Juve’s star men who have been courted by other top European sides.
