Liverpool have entered the race for the signature of Kenedy as the Blues youngster continues to shine at Saint James Park.
Kenedy joined Rafa Benitez at Newcastle on a six months loan deal in the last transfer window and he has impressed so far with 2 goals and 2 assists in 11 matches.
His performances have helped Newcastle escape relegation and the Magpies are desperate to make his move permanent at all cost. However, they face a challenge from Liverpool.
According to Daily Star, Jurgen Klopp has told his club to fight for the signature of the Brazilian as he would fit very well into his high-pressing attacking style. The Reds are looking for quality addition to their team that would deputize for any of their current front three in case of injury and suspension.
Per the reports, Chelsea would not stand in the way of Kenedy if he asks for a move and the Blues value him £20 million.
That fee won’t be too much for Liverpool to pay, but the Magpies would find it hard to pay as Rafa Benitez struggled to make any new signing last summer, largely relying on loan deals to get a squad that could escape relegation.
