Liverpool have completed the move for Falkirk’s full back Tony Galagher, but the Reds did not have it as smooth as the announcement of the move was made.
According to reports, Manchester United got the information that Liverpool were close to completing the switch for the exciting teenager and they enter the race for his signature at the very last minute. However, Liverpool were still able to complete the move.
Gallagher had recently had a trial at Liverpool and reportedly impressed the Reds enough to earn a deal with them. He has been shipped straight to their development side as he looks to develop his game further.
Although he has been signed for the future, if he impresses Jurgen Klopp, he could earn a place in the Reds line up sooner rather than later.
Liverpool fans are hoping their club’s transfer business is not done for the month after their club suffered two losses in as many games despite beating Manchester City prior. They have only added Virgil van Dijk to their first team this month and their fans want more players especially after selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
