With the transfer window just a few days away from closing, Liverpool have returned to the market to try and sign a creative talent.
Metro Sport is reporting that the Reds have made an offer for PSG midfielder Javier Pastore. Per the reports, the Reds are not the only Premier League side looking to sign Pastore as Tottenham have also tabled a similar offer.
Pastore however, is not keen on moving to the Premier League and the Argentine has instead decided to listen to the offer from Inter Milan. He is familiar with the Italian Serie A after starring for Palermo before moving to Paris in 2011.
Mauricio Pochettino is looking to strengthen is squad as they look to get back into the top four by the end of this season. He knows he needs more depth in midfield as Dele Alli has proved inconsistent this season.
Liverpool were planning to wait until the summer before replacing Philippe Coutinho, but their loss to Swansea City has exposed a lack of creativity in their midfield and Jurgen Klopp has asked for Reinforcements.
It is unclear if Inter Milan would be able to meet PSG’s demand as the French side needs cash urgently to avoid being sanctioned by UEFA.
