Arsenal could lose Aaron Ramsey this summer as the Welsh midfielder enters into the final year of his current Arsenal deal as SS Lazio targets him to replace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Milinkovic-Savic is in high demand at the moment with Manchester United, PSG, Juventus and Real Madrid all trying to sign the 23 years old Serbian.
Lazio have set his transfer fee at £88 million hoping that would drive away his suitors, but that doesn’t seem to be working and the Italians are now making plans of their own to replace him.
One player whom they think would be good replacement is Aaron Ramsey of Arsenal. The Gunners’ midfielder has developed into one of the best midfielders in Europe at the moment, but he is yet to be offered a new Arsenal deal.
He is entering the final year of his current deal, and he wants to be paid close to what the club’s current biggest earners get, which the Gunners are reluctant. Some sections of the club are already afraid that he may allow his deal run out and hold them to ransom just like Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez did last summer.
Despite missing out on a top four finish last season, Lazio are very confident that Ramsey would find it hard to resist playing and living in Rome.
