PSG have been advised on a potential new signing by their attacking prodigy, Kylian Mbappe. The French champions are looking to build a squad that is capable of winning the Champions League, and they have asked their players for recommendations.
For Mbappe the player he would sign without hesitation if he could make a signing would be Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.
Kante has been a star in the Premier League since he joined Leicester City in the summer of 2014. He led the little-known Foxes to the Premier League title in 2015/2016 season and won it with Chelsea in his very next season following a £30 million move.
Several top European sides are interested in Kante, but he remains committed to the Blues and wants to remain in London even if the Blues fail to qualify for the Champions League.
However, according to Mbappe: “Kante is the one player I would like at PSG, according to our needs and also the quality of the player,” Mbappe, who is coming to the end of a season-long loan move prior to a permanent move from Monaco, told beIN Sports.
“I think he’s a player that would suit our team perfectly. He is French; to bring back a Frenchman for the attractiveness of our championship would be good.
“I think all the French like N’Golo Kante, and it would be a pleasure to have him in our league.”
There is no need for panic for Chelsea fans as Kante is contracted to them until the summer of 2021.
