Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has admitted that several players on his team’s books are not good enough, and the former Chelsea boss is expected to clear out the dead woods this summer, but Marcus Rashford would be staying.
The England attacker has been struggling this season and he has netted just 6 Premier League goals so far. He was hung out to dry by the Portuguese tactician following yet another poor showing in their 1-0 loss to Brighton last weekend, but Mourinho still wants to give him time.
There have been reports in the English press over the past few weeks suggesting that Rashford could be sent on loan by the Red Devils, but when asked to confirm that, Mourinho said “No”
According to the Portuguese boss, Rashford impresses him greatly and that is the reason why he has been an ever present in his matchday squad so far.
Indeed, Rashford has been one of the most consistent name on the Red Devils team sheet this season, starting 24 games and playing in 49 overall.
The likes of Anthony Martial are close to moving away from the Theatre of Dreams and the Frenchman could be moving to North London with Arsenal interested in signing him.
