Manchester United are plotting to sign another Chelsea player this summer after sealing a move for Nemanja Matic last summer.
Daily Mail reports that the Blues are preparing to make summer for Willian for a reported £60 million.
The Brazilian was left on the bench for much of last season as Chelsea struggled to defend their Premier League crown and finished the season outside the top four. He started just 20 games, yet he was voted the club’s Player’s Player of the season.
The Brazilian has admitted to being frustrated at his situation last season, some reports even claim that he would quit the Blues if Antonio Conte returns as manager for the new season.
Mourinho who signed Willian for the Blues in the summer of 2013 wanted to bring the Brazilian to Old Trafford in the last winter transfer window, but Chelsea were reluctant to do business.
The Red Devils recently signed Willian’s international team mate, Fred and Willian did not hold back in praising the FA Cup finalists while congratulating the former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder on the move.
Chelsea don’t plan to sell, but they may find £60 million to much to refuse especially as Willian is already 29 years old.
