Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has highlighted where the Red Devils would need to sign a new player next summer.
The Red Devils out-bided Manchester City to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal last month and the Portuguese tactician claimed that he signed the Chilean so that they can win the Premier League next season.
But, Sanchez was underwhelming in his first Premier League start for the Red Devils as they were beaten 2-0 by Tottenham at Wembley.
Now Mourinho has turned his attention to the next transfer window and reckons that they need to sign a new midfielder to replace Michael Carrick, as the 36 years old would be retiring after this season.
This admission would have baffled the fans of the Red Devils as they still have Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini on their books that barely get into their starting lineup.
One target that has been linked with a move to Old Trafford is Manchester City target, Fred. The Brazilain has impressed for Shakhtar Donetsk this season as they became the first side to beat Manchester City. He has been in talks with the Cityzens, but Mourinho hopes to steal him from under the noses of his neighbors.
