Real Madrid are planning a major summer overhaul of their team as they look to win the La Liga once again.
Los Blancos have already conceded defeat in this season’s battle for Spain’s top honour and they have begun making plans to replace their underperforming stars.
Reports from Spain claims the European champions are prepared to spend about £500 million in the summer and Harry Kane could take up more than half of that fee.
The reports claim that Madrid are prepared to smash the world transfer record being held by Neymar by some distance for Kane. They are reportedly ready to pay as high as £268 million for the English man.
Tuesday’s Champions League game between Spurs and Juventus was seen as an audition for Kane to show he can perform at the big stage, and the English man did not fail to convince. He netted the equalizing goal and was generally impressive despite being marked by Giorgio Chiellini.
Kane has netted 101 Premier League goals in 126 games, and is on course to become the Premier League’s top scorer for the third consecutive season as he has already netted 23 times this season. However, the race for that title this time is very hot with Mohamed Salah and Sergio Aguero following closely.
