Chelsea fans can rest for now after their star man appears to rule out a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid next summer, and Belgian has refused to sign a new improved deal at Stamford Bridge, telling the club that he would prefer to sign when the season is over.
This refusal to sign was seen by most of the club’s faithful as an open invitation to Real Madrid for Los Blancos to come and sign him. However, he has come out to clear the air and give some assurances that he is happy at Stamford Bridge.
According to Hazard while speaking to Telefoot: “In football anything can happen. But in football nothing can happen too.
“Every year they talk about Real or PSG. And when I want to change clubs, I will. But at the moment I’m good where I am.
“I still have two year left on my contract. I feel very good over here.
“The fans love me, my family enjoys life over here. We will see.”
The Blues have bounced back to form after suffering two consecutive losses and they face Barcelona next in the Champions League. Fans would be looking at the attacker to help fire them to the next round of the competition.
