Chelsea star Alvaro Morata is ready to swap Stamford Bridge this summer after a poor first season with the FA Cup holders.
The Blues splashed out £58 million to land the former Juventus man last season. He started the season brightly by netting 8 times in 7 games, however, by the turn of 2018, he scored just three times before the season came to an end.
His struggles in front of goal forced the Blues to sign Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window. He is now keen to leave them after suffering serious criticism from fans and analysts alike.
The Blues would not stand in his way if he asks for a move away, however, they have set an asking price of £70 million. The Spaniard has interest mainly from Italy at the moment with Juventus and AC Milan willing to offer him a chance in the Serie A.
Juventus, were Morata played for two seasons between 2014 and 2016 have made a proposal to sign him for an initial loan deal before making the move permanent, but Chelsea want a permanent transfer.
However, any decision on his transfer would likely be affected by the Blues managerial situation as they look to get rid of Antonio Conte and make Maurizio Sarri their new boss.
