No amount of money can tempt Chelsea to allow Eden Hazard join a Premier League rival, now or any time in the future.
This assurance from the Blues to their fans comes after reports surfaced yesterday claiming that Manchester City are looking to make up for the loss of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United by signing Eden Hazard for £200 million.
The reports claim that the Citizens are bracing themselves to outbid Real Madrid for the signature of the Belgian next summer. While Chelsea may find it hard to stop Hazard from joining Real Madrid, the Blues are confident that they would never sell their best players to a direct rival.
Hazard currently has two years left on his current contract with the Blues, but he has refused to sign a new deal worth £300, 000 per week to commit his future to Stamford Bridge. This act has been interpreted by many to mean he may be asking for a move away after this season.
While Chelsea would understand if Hazard tells them he wants to join Real Madrid, they have made it clear that they would not consider any offer from Manchester City or any other rival.
The Blues are also confident that Hazard who refused to join PSG while a player of Lille would never ask to join a direct rival.
