Chelsea are considering using Alvaro Morata as a bait to land Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund.
The Spanish attacker has been in the news lately for transfer reasons. He joined the Blues last season for £60 million and started the season brightly, however, the goals eventually dried up and he scored just three times in the second half of the season forcing Antonio Conte to replace him with Olivier Giroud in the starting lineup.
Christian Pulisic is still only 19 but he has played for at least three full seasons with the Dortmund first team and continues to impress. He has been linked with moves to Liverpool and Manchester United in the past, but the Germans have refused to sell.
However, reports last week claims that Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing a Chelsea striker and they have turned their attention to Morata as Chelsea are reluctant to sell Michy Batshuayi.
The Blues could allow Morata join them, however, they would ask for Pulisic in return. The American is highly regarded in Dortmund and the Germans could ask for a player plus cash offer for the £88 million rated star.
