Chelsea Transfer Updates Wednesday 17th Jan

Chelsea remain keen on Watford forward Richarlison but nothing will be happening until some the summer with the North London club very much intent on making a profit when the weather warms up.

Andy Carrol appears to be an option Conte is looking at the bolster his attacking options however with the Italian likely on the move in the summer, the club are monitoring transfers much more closely and do not wish to end up with players a new manager may look to sell in a further 5 months. Betting wise it might be worth a few quid but the likelyhood is that Chelsea stick with what they have and try and lure a World Cup star once the tournament concludes.

Sanchez sadly for Chelsea fans has somewhat priced himself out of a move to West London with his wage demands and at 29 years old they feel those wages could be better placed elsewhere.

Contrary to reports in the media, Chelsea have not approached Roma for Emerson Palmieri and this one is left well alone should it appear in the betting market. Real Madrid are keeping a keen eye on Andreas Christensen but this is on much longer term thinking for the Spaniards so Chelsea fans need not worry at the moment.

One player who is likely to depart, albeit on loan is Charly Musonda. The midfielder will go out on loan but where exactly remains to be debated. Celtic are certainly keen but it’s more than likely he, and Chelsea, will want to stick around in the Premiership with a few clubs circling to boost their squads. If you find odds anywhere this is very much a dead cert.
