Jean Michel Seri has been spotted in London as he plots a move to the Premier League this summer.
The 26 years old has attracted the attention of several top flight teams, but Chelsea appears to be leading the race for his signature. The Blues have however, not made an official bid for him and they could miss out on signing him.
Sky Sports reports that Fulham have also joined the race for his signature and the Premier League newcomers have a role ready for him to come and fill. Tom Carney has extended his Cottagers contract and the reports claim Fulham plan to partner him with the Ivorian in their midfield ahead of the new season.
Arsenal are also another team who have been credited with an interest in Seri as Unai Emery goes about restructuring his new team. The Gunners’ first choice is Steven Nzonzi from Sevilla, however, should they fail to land the French World Cup star, Seri is their number two target.
Seri has spent the last two seasons playing some of the best football in the French Ligue 1 with Nice and Patrick Viera would love to keep him, but he has just two seasons left on his current deal and he has told the French side that he wants to move.
