Chelsea and Tottenham are battling for a couple of players this summer and one of them is Jack Grealish.
The England Under-21 international is set to leave Aston Villa this summer after they failed in their attempt to reach the Premier League last summer. He has been advised by John Terry to make the step up.
Tottenham have been the frontrunners for his signature all summer, with the Lilywhites reportedly close to signing him for £20 million. However, Chelsea have turned their attention towards him and they hope to steal a march on their rivals.
Tottenham seem to have problems coming up with funds for transfer as they try to complete their new stadium and that could see them miss out on signing Grealish.
Maurizio Sarri has reportedly told the Blues to sign the creative star for £20 million as he looks to add more creativity and flair to his midfield. However, Standard Sports reports that Spurs are still leading the race for his signature and confidence is very high at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium that they have won the race for his signature.
Grealish has not been talking about his future, but it is believed that he doesn’t have any problems joining any of the two teams.
