Chelsea have open talks with AC Milan over the transfer of Alvaro Morata as the Italians look to sign a new forward.
Milan are in the market for a new striker who would led them back to the Champions League, and they consider Morata as a good option.
Morata joined the Blues for £57 million last summer. He started the previous season well, but his goals quickly dried up and he ended up scoring just 11 goals in 34 league games.
Morata however, had a good two seasons in Italian football with Juventus between 2013 and 2015 and Milan believe he would not struggle in the Serie A like he is doing in the Premier League right now.
Sun Sport claims that Milan has open talks with Chelsea and the Blues have set their asking price at £62 million.
Milan are also targeting Juventus’ Gonzalo Higuain, but they face competition from the Blues for the Argentinean.
Higuain had his most prolific season under the management of Maurizio Sarri when they were both at Napoli, and they both seem keen on being reunited with each other again.
