Chelsea are looking to make Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino their next boss as the Argentine looks to be at loggerheads with Daniel Levy.
Pochettino has been very impressive at Spurs since taking over 4 years ago and the Argentine has led them to three consecutive top four finishes.
However, he feels the club needs to back him up with more funds in the transfer market and also improve their wage structure. It is however, believed that Levy does not agree with his demand for a huge transfer kitty and the two are set for show down talks in the next couple of days.
After their 5-4 final day win over Leicester City, Pochettino threw doubt into the air about his future after insisting he did not know where his future lied.
Chelsea are set to axe Antonio Conte after Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester United after the Italian failed to finish inside the top four, despite winning the Premier League last season.
Reports from Stamford Bridge claims this would be Conte’s final week at the west London side as he has lost the backing of Roman Abramovich.
The Blues are monitoring Pochettino’s situation and Abramovich is said to admire the former Southampton boss and he is willing to give him any amount he needs to rebuild the Chelsea squad.
