Chelsea fans may be seeing David Luiz for the last time this season as the Brazilian is eyeing a move to the Bernabeu.
Luiz has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge since his performance against AS Roma in the Champions League last season. He reportedly had a falling out with Conte in the aftermath of that 3-0 loss, and he has since lost his place in the starting line up to Andreas Christensen.
Reports in Spain is claiming that Real Madrid president is looking to sign a new defender and has AC Milan’s Leonardo Bonucci as his number one target. However, the reports further claims that David Luiz is an alternative should they fail to tempt Bonucci into moving to Madrid.
Luiz was the world’s most expensive defender when he left the Blues initially to join PSG, he returned last season and helped them win the Premier League title. Luiz remains a fans favourite and he could return to the Blues line up if Antonio Conte is fired after this season.
However, Luiz wants to play more so he can be considered for a place in Brazil’s team in the World Cup later this year.
