Garry Cahill is ready to quit Chelsea in the next transfer window if he continues to feature outside of Maurizio Sarri’s plans for the new season.
The World Cup star hasn’t featured in any of the club’s games this season as their new manager continues to use the same defenders in his games this season.
Cahill was a regular at Stamford Bridge under the reign of previous manager, Antonio Conte, but Sarri has opted against playing with three defenders, and the return to form of David Luiz has also limited his chances of playing for the team.
Cahill joined the Blues in 2012 and has won all the club competitions with them. He was named club captain after John Terry left Stamford Bridge, and he hopes that the club would allow him to join another Premier League team as a reward for his loyalty over the years.
However, Maurizio Sarri has told his squad members that they should not worry about playing as they would all be used as more competitive games begins to come up.
The Blues would begin their Champions League and Carabao Cup campaigns this month, and the likes of Garry Cahill should be given chances to impress.
