Manchester City midfielder, Fabian Delph has emerged as a shock target for Turkish giants, Besiktas.
The World Cup star has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad and may have to move to save his spot in the English national team.
Delph would have been sold last season, however, and injury to Benjamin Mendy forced him to be used as an emergency left back for most of the season as City romped to the league title.
However, the French man is fit again and Delph could spend the rest of the season on the bench as City have more than enough players in his preferred midfield position.
Talksport claims that Besiktas are prepared to offer the former Aston Villa man a way out by giving him more game time as well as a chance to compete in the Europa League.
The reports further claims that Besiktas have made their intentions known to Manchester City and a member of the club’s board has reached out to the Cityzens about the possibility of loaning the player.
With just about 6 days left in the transfer window, Delph has a short time to decide if he wants to move or stay put.
