Manchester United still have some work to do in their bid to keep Paul Pogba at Old Trafford this summer, as Barcelona remain determined to sign him.
The Catalans made a late effort to land the World Cup winner this summer which left Manchester United infuriated. They had offered £50 million plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes for the former Juventus star, but Manchester United declined the offer.
With Pogba’s relationship with Jose Mourinho still not the best, it looks like the French man’s future is still not settled, according to Sun Sports.
The president of Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu fielded questions about transfers this summer and he refused to rule out the Catalans making another move for Pogba this summer.
Asked about their move for the French man, Bartomeu said: “I won’t speak of any names, we have respect for all clubs and there are 20 days left.
“We’ll see which players come out.
“We’re focused on the league, so it’s best to ask Eric Abidal, Ramon Planes or Pep Segura about players.
“There’s still time to do business.”
Barcelona have cash to spend on a major transfer target after they kept some money to sign Antoine Griezmann and were ultimately snubbed by the French man who renewed his contract with the Europa League winners instead.
