Barcelona has become the latest club side to try and pull off a sensational swoop this summer after they reportedly made an offer for Paul Pogba.
Pogba’s future at Manchester United is far from clear as his relationship with Jose Mourinho continues to be a struggle for both parties. He has just returned from his extended World Cup break after he successfully won the competition with the French national team.
His agent has reportedly come to England to try and force his move away from Old Trafford, and it may not take time before he leaves the Theatre of dreams again.
Reports on Sun Sport claims that Barcelona have made a bid of £44 million plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes for the French man. Mina is a transfer target for the Red Devils and they had reached an agreement with the Catalans last week for the Colombian, but the move broke down due to disagreements on agent fees.
Mina is poised to join Everton, but this offer gives United the chance to steal a match on the Merseyside club. Gomes has fallen out of contention at Barcelona and he may be revived in the Premier League with West Ham also interested in signing him.
The reports however, further claims that the Red Devils have rejected the bid as they have no plans to sell their record signing.
