Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck could well be on his way out. The former United man has just 18 months left on his contract and although running it down will not cause the sort of aggro similar to Ozil and Sanchez it appears Arsenal will listen to offers with Besiktas of Turkey very interested.
Bordeaux look to be raising the price for young Brazilian Malcom and this has put Arsenal off somewhat. Certainly for the January transfer window anyway. If Bordeaux continue like this then Arsenal will give it a wide berth this month and will try again in the summer.
Frenchman Coquelin who has just joined Valencia (The club, not the United Right-back) is being replaced and are increasingly keen on bringing Italian midfielder Jorginho in from Napoli. The 26 year old, who’s real name is Jorge Luiz Frello Filho is available for the right price and sources suggest Wenger feels he is the best current replacement available.
As for N’Zonzi this is a deal that is simply just dragging on and on and neither side can find the right compromise. It is understood the player was keen but the clubs current Premier League position is not helping the situation.
