Danny Welbeck is a target of Turkish giants, Besiktas as they look to reinforce their squad ahead of next season. The Arsenal man return from a long injury layoff this season to help the Gunners reach the Europa League semifinal, however, with Arsenal naming a new boss to replace Wenger, Welbeck’s future could be thrown into doubt yet again.
Although the former Manchester United striker has a year left on his current Arsenal deal, the Turks are confident that they can lure him to Istanbul as they want to replace Premier League bound Anderson Talisca.
Talisca is a target of Manchester United and Liverpool with the Red Devils reported to have stolen a march of the Champions League finalists with a £35 million offer.
Welbeck is not one of the most prolific strikers in the EPL at the moment and his spate of injuries has seen several topflight teams turn their attention to other targets. He has played 28 games for the Gunners this season, but has only 6 goals to show for it, he may find the Turkish Super Lig more fruitful for his career.
Welbeck would speak with new Arsenal boss, Unai Emery before deciding the next step in his career.
