Arsenal are prepared to allow Alex Iwobi leave this summer as Unai Emery continues to reshape his squad.
The Gunners have had to allow some stalwarts like Jack Wlshere and Santi Cazorla leave the Emirates stadium this summer and the likes of Danny Welbeck may also be allowed to leave as he seem not to feature in Emery’s first team plans.
Reports from Italy last week claims that Lazio want the Nigerian attacker to replace Felipe Anderson who has signed West Ham this summer. The Brazilian joined the Hammers for £45 million and the Italians believe that Iwobi is a good replacement.
Iwobi is not the only Gunners player attracting the attention of the Italians as the Sun claims they are also interested in signing Lucas Perez. Perez just came back from an underwhelming loan spell at Deportivo which ended in relegation.
Iwobi scored just three times in 26 games for the Gunners last season, but he could be sacrificed to add more quality to the Gunners’ squad. The Gunners are reportedly ready to sell him if Lazio pays up to £22.5 million.
The Gunners are currently in Singapore for preseason and Unai Emery hopes to know who his starting players would be when they return.
