Arsenal are prepared to end their long term relationship with Arsene Wenger if the French man fails to lead them to Champions League qualification at the end of this season.
The Gunners missed out on playing in Europe’s elite competition last season, and are at risk of missing out again after falling at least 7 points behind the fourth position on the EPL table.
However, they are still in the Europa League and winning that competition would offer them automatic ticket to the Champions League.
The Gunners’ board want to make an early decision on his future this time after they saw the speculation about his future destabilize their club last summer. He still has a year left on the two years contract he signed last summer, but they would fire him despite that.
The Gunners backed him very much in last month’s transfer market and they expect the signings of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to fire them into the top four.
Former Barcelona manager, Luis Enique is a target for the Gunners and they are prepared to battle with Chelsea to get the Spaniard. He is currently on sabbatical after leaving his role as the manager of Barcelona at the end of last season.
