Arsenal and Liverpool fans would have to wait until the summer to see of their team can sign AS Monaco’s Thomas Lemar.
The French youngster came very close to signing for one of the two Premier League teams last summer, but they both failed in their attempts to convince him to move on transfer deadline. They still retained interest in the young attacker, but any hope they had of signing him this month has been dashed by Monaco’s vice president.
Vadim Vasilyev has told suitors that he would 100% remain a Monaco player after this transfer window. When asked if the French side would reject an outrageous offer, he insisted that they had priorities and no amount of money would change their stance.
Liverpool have lost Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge this month, and the Reds fans are begging their team to bring in reinforcement so they don’t miss out on playing in the Champions League next season. But Jurgen Klopp seems to have decided against making any new additions to his squad this month.
The German who is not a fan of the January transfer window has insisted that they would not be replacing Philippe Coutinho in this transfer window.
