Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay could be on his way to the Premier League after this season as Arsenal continues to monitor his progress in Germany.
The Turkish-German has been on the radar of the Gunners from last summer after he helped Hoffenheim qualify for the Champions League and he has continued to impress their scouts.
However, they are not the only team from England or Europe that are monitoring his progress. The midfielder is also beings scouted by Liverpool and Everton in the EPL, while Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan also have strong interest.
Demirbay was called up to Turkey’s national team last year, but he turned them down at the last minute after getting a call up to the German national team. He went on to win the Confederations Cup with the Germans and would be looking to force his way into their World Cup squad later this year.
Liverpool are hoping to use Jurgen Klopp’s influence to get the midfielder to sign for them as Klopp looks to replace Emre Can with another German talent. They missed out on Leon Goretzka, but Klopp is optimistic that Demirbay would choose them if he decides to move to the EPL.
