While Manchester United are looking bring in more players to their team, they would also have to do some work in terms of keeping their players from the attention of European giants.
The Red Devils have been in the market for a new midfielder as they expect to lose Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick; reports are now claiming they might lose Ander Herrera also.
Express Sports claims the Spaniard is a subject of a £32 million bid from AC Milan as they look to continue spending to rebuild their squad.
Herrera has fallen down the pecking order this season with Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba Jose Mourinho’s preferred midfield pairing. He was reluctant to extend his stay with the Red Devils but the club exercised their option of an additional year on his deal to keep him until the end of next season.
Herrera is already at risk of missing this year’s world cup and does not want to miss future national team engagements.
The Red Devils are already looking bring either Fabinho or Arturo Vidal next summer, if they do sell Herrera, they might be forced to bring in the duo for a combined £95 million fee.
