Liverpool are prepared to end their interest in Brazilian shot stopper, Allison if Roma continues to ask for a record fee.
The Reds have made Allison their number one summer target after Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius failed to step up and make the number one spot their own.
Liverpool were keen on getting Allison last month but a deal could not be agreed and Jurgen Klopp decided to stick to his current options. However, with the German famous for finishing his transfer business early, they have begun plans ahead of July.
Sun Sport is reporting that the Reds have been put off by Roma’s initial demand for the Brazilian number one as the Italians are demanding £70 million.
Per the reports, the Romans want to avoid the mistake they did when they allowed Mohamed Salah join Liverpool last month for only £37 million. The Egyptian has gone on to net 30 times in just 37 games for the Reds.
Jurgen Klopp has recently stopped his goalkeeper rotation policy and has made Loris Karius his permanent number one. The German has returned the faith by keeping 3 clean sheets in his last 4 games.
