Emre Can has agreed to join Juventus from Liverpool for free, and the transfer would be announced by the Italians after Liverpool’s Champions League final against Real Madrid next week.
The German, 24 has been negotiating with the Reds for over two years now and both the club and his representatives failed to agree terms of a new deal, with reports claiming he wanted a release clause written into the new deal.
Liverpool are said to still believe Can would stay with them, but Sun Sport claims he has already agreed to join Juventus for 85k per week for five years. The Old Ladies have been desperate to land Can all season long and even tried to pay Liverpool for his signature in the last transfer window, but the Reds were not interested in a sale.
Can has been out injured and may have played his last game for the Reds, but he is with the team at their warm weather training in Spain and hopes to convince Jurgen Klopp to give him a chance to feature in the Champions League final.
Losing Can would be a bitter blow for the Reds as the German had began to become a big game player at Anfield, however, the Reds have secured the signing of Naby Keita and Klopp would hope the Guinean can hit the ground running immediately.
